Biography

Currently, Getachew Agegnehu is working as a Lead Researcher in soil science at the Natural Resource Management Research Directorate of the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research. Getachew's main areas of research interest are in integrated soil fertility and plant nutrient management including biochar, compost, biochar-compost and co-composted biochar-compost in relation to soil quality, crop performance and greenhouse gas emissions, and cropping systems in tropical agro-ecosystems. Getachew has published several research articles in peer review international and national journals, book chapters and conference papers in proceedings.
