Biography

Dr. Pierluigi Scalia is an  Associate Professor .Two decades matured in the biomedical research setting with several publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Oncogene, Cancers, Blood, Current Biology, International Journal Cancer, Genes and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Fifteen years in research and development between academic and private sectors with internationally patented research on the role of cancer microenvironmental factors on tumor progression and biomarker discovery and validation. More than fifteen years of cumulative experience as a clinical laboratory scientist, medical liaison, biomedical consultant and project manager.
