Biography

I am a Sr.Scientist at CSIR-CDRI. We are testing and validating new drug targets and drug combinations for Anticancer and Antifungal therapies. New target validation is an important aspect of drug discovery. I feel that academic research institutes should lead the way in this direction to show the proof of concept for industries to take interest and to carry it forward. Received DST-Fasttrack Award in 2013. Received the Rapid Grant for Young Investigator award from DBT in 2013.
