Biography

am a Professor in the Department of Pathology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and currently direct the HLA/Immunogenetics Laboratory at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. My clinical interests include HLA typing; anti-HLA antibody detection, lymphocyte crossmatching; application of molecular methodologies to HLA typing. My research interests include role of HLA and/or anti-HLA antibodies in the pathogenesis human disease role and detection of APOL1 gene variants in the transplantation process.
