Biography

Dr.Hideyuki Takagi (M'91) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Kyushu Institute of Design (KID), Fukuoka, Japan, in 1979 and 1981, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan, in 1991, all in engineering.,He was a Researcher at the Central Research Labs, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (current Panasonic Corporation) in 1981–1995, a Visiting Industrial Fellow at the University of California Berkeley in 1991–1993, and an Associate Professor at KID in 1995–2003. He has been an Associate Professor at Kyushu University, Kyushu, Japan, since 2003.
