Dr.Sashindra Kakoty currently works at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Sashindra does research in Mechanical Engineering. His current project is 'Hybrid Gas Foil Bearings and Magnetic Bearings '. His research interest includes in Tribology, Duct Acoustics, Mechanical system Design, Rural technology. He is dean in resource generation and finance and coordinator at Unaat Bharat Abhiyan and RuTag-NE IIT Guwahati.
