Biography

Mrs. Esther Ekua Amfoa Amoako is a Lecturer in department of Ecotourism and Environmental Management. I have 20 years of professional working experience, out of which I worked 10 years (December 1999 - October 2009) for both local and International Non-Governmental Organisations in community development in the Northern region, Ghana. I am working University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana, since October 2009. My main areas of research include biodiversity conservation, sustainable land management, and climate change, fire in savanna ecosystems and gender and development.
