Biography

Professor Tjoon Tow Teng received his MSc and PhD in chemical engineering from Universite de Montreal (Canada). His research areas include properties of multicomponent aqueous solutions, acid gas removal, and wastewater treatment technology. Professor Teng has published over 65 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals, chapters in books, and has reviewed numerous manuscripts from many journals. He joined Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, in 1975 and is currently a professor in the Division of Industrial Technology.
