Biography

Dr. Amin Firouzi received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from University of Rome – Tor Vergata, Italy in collaboration with Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands in 2014. Then, he joined Department of Process Engineering at International Maritime College Oman as assistant professor and was promoted to the head of the department in 2017. Dr. Amin has established two research labs in this department through internal and external research funding. In 2020, he joined Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston.
