Biography

Professor Margel received his Ph.D. from the Department of Materials Science, at the Weizmann Institute in 1976. He completed his postdoctoral studies at the California Institute of Technology (CALTECH), Department of Inorganic Chemistry in 1977 and then served two years as a senior scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at CALTECH. From 1980 to 1986 he worked as a senior scientist,and from 1985 as an associate Professor, at the Department of Materials Science, the Weizmann Institute.
