Biography

Dr. Evans Nkhalambaysausi Chirwa is a Rand Water Chair and Sedibeng Water Chair in Water Utilisation Engineering at the University of Pretoria with a strong focus on nanomaterials and alternative sanitation engineering. He is a Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pretoria heading the Water Utilisation and Environmental Engineering Group. His current research projects are in UV-vis light photocatlysis (z-scheme models), forward osmosis, and bio-nanomaterials applications.
