Biography

Dr. Seyed Kourosh Mahjour holds Ph.D. in Petroleum Geoscience and Engineering from UNICAMP. He currently works at the Energy Production and Innovation Center (EPIC) as a postdoc researcher. Seyed does research in petroleum engineering and reservoir management. The center's main objective is to seek innovative solutions to optimize the production and efficiency of oil wells in pre-salt and post-salt areas, and recover reservoirs. Their current project is funded by FAPESP and Equinor (former Statoil).
