Biography

Rosario Dominguez Crespo Hirata is a retired professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sao Paulo (FCF/USP), Brazil. She is a pharmacist, has MSc and PhD from the University of Sao Paulo, and a postdoctoral fellow at the US Food and Drug Administration, USA. Prof. Rosario is currently advisor to the Graduate Program in Pharmacy - Pathophysiology and Toxicology at FCF/USP. Prof. Rosario investigates the molecular basis of metabolic, cardiovascular and renal diseases using genomic, pharmacogenomic and epigenomic approaches.
