Biography

Nik is a full Professor of Computer Science, the founding Head (Chair) of the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Engineering & the founding Director of the Data Science Research Centre at Edge Hill University, UK. Nik leads a department of around 50 staff & 650 students & a centre of about 40 staff. Prior to that, Nik was a full Professor of Computer Science & founding Director of Distributed and Intelligent Systems (DISYS) research center at University of Derby, UK. Nik started his career at the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
