Biography

Dr. Susan (Shufen) Pan is Director of the GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences (SFWS) at Auburn University. She has more than 20 years of experience in ecosystem/geospatial modeling and remote sensing observation/applications. Her research projects have covered a range of topics including land use and land cover changes, climate impacts, mitigation and adaptation, food and water security across many regions of the world including North America, Asia and Africa.
