Biography

Dr. Thiageswari Umapathy completed her Masters in Ophthalmology at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (1993) and was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Queens Medical Center, Nottingham, UK (2004). Currently practicing in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, she is a corneal surgeon who performs pediatric and adult corneal transplantation. She specializes in treating and diagnosing diseases of the cornea and external eye disease with particular clinical interests.
