Biography

Natália G Sampaio is interested in innate immunity to pathogens and host-pathogen interactions. Natália G Sampaio is currently investigating the pathogen recognition receptors MDA5 and cGAS, and their roles in viral detection and autoimmunity. Previously, Natália G Sampaio studied virulence and immunomodulatory factors of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum.
