Biography

Dr. Jianping Xie is currently a Dean’s Chair Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, and his Ph.D. from the Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) program. Dr. Xie joined NUS in 2010 and established the BioNanoMetals research group. His group is known for the work on engineering water-soluble metal nanoclusters for biomedical and catalytic applications.  His research interests include noble metal nanoclusters, nanomedicine, and nanocatalysis.
