Biography

 Dr. Yanping Chen, M.D., Ph.D., PMP, serves as the President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Dr. Chen served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Yankee Clipper Group from 1992 to 1998. Dr. Chen has been active in the project management arena. Prior to coming to the United States in 1987, she served as Director of Planning for the Chinese manned space flight program from 1983 to 1987. From 1977 to 1983, she gained project management experience as a research scientist with the space program.
