Biography

Kevin W. Sexton, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery with secondary appointments in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, the Department of Health Policy and Management, and the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Division of Pharmaceutical Evaluation and Policy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He also serves as Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer for Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurship at UAMS and is the Associate Director of the UAMS Institute for Digital Health & Innovation. Dr. Sexton’s clinical focus is hernia surgery and his administrative focus is on developing technologies for the rural healthcare market.
