Biography

Fondjo holds a PhD in Chemical Pathology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, Ghana. She is a Faculty and a Researcher at the Department of Molecular Medicine of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, KNUST. Dr Fondjo teaches Biochemistry and Chemical Pathology and supervises both undergraduate and graduate (Masters & PhD) students. Her research interests focus on the identification of biomarkers for non-communicable diseases and reproductive health conditions notably; preeclampsia, breast cancer, as well as vitamin D deficiency and its interplay between non-communicable diseases.
